Iraq says oil exports can recover quickly if Hormuz crisis ends Iraq says it can restore normal oil production and exports within a week once the Strait of Hormuz crisis ends, offering a rare sign of possible relief in a market rattled by blocked Gulf shipments and high crude prices. Reuters reported that Baghdad is currently producing around 1.5 million barrels per day and exporting only about 200,000 barrels per day through the Ceyhan pipeline, far below normal levels.
